This was one of the most memorable spots along the skyline drive ! The rock contours here are fascinating and perfect for photos with the family. This spot gets so busy and attracts so many followers so if you see it fairly empty you should stop and take some photos!! We went around Memorial Day weekend.

All of the views of the Skyline Drive are beautiful! Make sure you have a good map of Skyline Drive marking all of the overlooks and giving information as to what you will see it each of them. We just drove through and stopped and took pictures at this overlook not getting out of the car. This is a beautiful view from high-elevation looking over pristine mountains and Forest.
