It wasn't crowded because it's off season. Most of it is outside so dress for the weather. Half price for military and families on weekends. (Call to see the dates for the discount.) There are a lot of guided encounters at almost every display. The dolphin show was great. We enjoyed our day very much.

Fun visit. Went by 10am and plenty of time to hit the shows and talks. Lots to see and the presentations are enjoyable and educational. My girls are high school and middle school and still enjoyed. We left about 2:00 and only missed 2 mini talks. There is a pressed penny coin spot if your kids like to do that. Staff were friendly to answer questions esp at the penguin feeding.

We had a wonderful visit. After going through admission, you find yourself face to face with many port holes viewing into the dolphin aquarium. Adults and children alike were fascinated by the agility and speed of the dolphins. We arrived shortly before a dolphin show so we went upstairs, they do have an elevator, to the “theater.” The show was not what I expected. The Dolphins did all sorts of spectacular tricks, but there was a great amount of education from beginning to end. From a compare and contrast of mammals and humans to our responsibility to help protect water creatures, specifically dolphins. The seal lion show was fun and amusing. Again in the presentation, there was a compare and contrast, this time between sea lions and seals. Don’t get them confused, sea lions are sensitive and will refuse to perform if you call them seals. Very educational again. These were the two main shows. The remainder of our stay we spent meandering through the park looking at and learning about many other types of aquatic creatures. There is also a “sick bay.” This is where I could see the compassion of the staff toward marine life. Many turtles were present during our visit, some repeat visitors, having their limb(s) entangled in fishing line, some to the point amputation was necessary. Upon rehabilitation, the stable and able to care for themselves would be released back into the wild. Others would be placed permanently at other facilities. There are many exciting and eye opening sights and sounds at the Gulfarium, a wonderful place indeed.

Always a great time. The Dolphin and Sea Lion show is fun and very informative. Kids 2 years old to 17 years old loved the whole time while there. Honestly for me family who loves it season pass is worth the money. My only grip is the cleaning staff, and the staff other than the trainers. I had ordered food and drinks because the baby was red, hot, and sticky and the oldest was hungry. Seeing a baby on my hip, no offer for a tray was mentioned, nor could I locate one. 2 drinks and 2 food items with baby on my side equalled dropped food. Not a single staff member offered help, not the first time nor the second dropping thing. Another patron stopped and asked if I needed help. The staff just walked around and ignored me. So with that thank you young lady in the green shirt, I truly appreciate you.
