Love this park and the changes made to the playground. Unfortunately my daughter was able to test the efficacy of the new padding that replaced the sand and sticks under the playground equipment. It passed, she's fine. Looking forward to the upgrade of the shoreline and stage area. (Anyone know a timeline on those?) It would be nice to add a few benches and picnic seating but I understand the omission in order to deter overnight guests. I would also suggest that they keep the lighting that they use during the holidays. It adds a beautiful atmosphere that would be perfect year round. A great place to enjoy a concert in the park, a fireworks display at night and a nice breeze off of the Sound.

Beautiful little park to walk around or have a picnic. They hold many events here including a farmers market every other weekend. Has a nice little playground area in the shade for smaller kids.
