I did not have a reservation but the wait time was not too bad for a drop-in. I did not order a drink or appetizer, which often paint you as cheap, yet service was good. I had the Cajun Redfish and it was prepared well and tasted delicious. The side orders were great. The atmosphere and view is part of the price, my only complaint is for the price the sides could have been larger and the overall meal should have left stuffed.

The food was good and our waitress Virginia was right on top of things. Refilled our drinks before we were able to empty our cups! The food came out quickly as well and filled us up pretty quickly. Waited about 40 minutes for a table on Friday evening. Which I am sure was better then some of the places we drove past to get here!!

We dined at Captain Dave’s last night for dinner. We arrived about 8pm on a Friday night. We checked in with the hostess and were told it was an hour wait. She directed us downstairs to the bar area. We were greeted on the steps by Amy. She very cheerfully offered to serve us dinner downstairs on the deck. Our food was amazing AND Amy was the BEST waitress we experienced on our entire trip. She was full of personality, helpful with food choices and very attentive! We would definitely return to Captain Dave’s for dinner and we will definitely request to sit in Amy’s section. 😊👍
