Overall a really nice pub and still one of the best in Cheshire, we used to be regulars but stopped going as got a bit bored and wanted a change. We just had Christmas 🎄 lunch here today as we like to eat out more at Christmas. The staff really nice and friendly. We were led to a table by the fire 🔥, which is not ideal as it gets too hot especially when your eating hot food. Anyway, the food... The soup starter sweet potatoe and was really nice. The Christmas turkey lunch was overall nice but lacked any sprouts? a little too dry, could do with some more gravy, and the cranberry sauce was not the best tasting. I wanted to have desert but was too hot as did not like this table so we called it a day. So on food I would say 3.5 out of 5 this time. The rest of the pub is superb. Fabulous views, large car parking, real ales, which i could not drink as I was driving. So although not perfect Would definitely recommend.

I had my birthday celebrations here on the 12 October, I have to say it was fabulous, the food was absolutely wonderful, the staff are so nice they're are great, Dianne from the posh part of Manchester ( I believe ) is the best. We all had a great time, and guest what we're coming back next month to do it all again. Best wishes from the Potters xxx.

Lovely pub with spectacular views. Staff were very friendly and welcoming but they are often very busy so be patient and sit and enjoy the views whilst you're kept waiting. Dont worry though, the food is worth the wait.

A lovely pub hidden away near Peckforton castle. Beautiful open fires and views over the Cheshire downs. We didn't eat there but we saw the food which looked fantastic. The menu was varied from sandwiches to steaks. We made most of the views and sat outside. They have solid wooden chairs and tables which allow you to take in the magnificent views. If you stay at the castle it's a 1.3 mile walk through the woods which we did. You can drive but a Satnav will find it down the country lanes. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

My wife and little Westie and me decided to have a Christmasy day out and we the called at the pheasant Inn for a spot of lunch, what a lovely lunch it was as well (I highly recommend the hand crafted steak pie) the only downer I would say is that at one point the chef bellowed SERVICE and ALL the customers sitting near the kitchen commented on how unprofessional it was, apart from that it was really well worth visiting.... The serving staff are so polite and caring.
