344 Thanon Chakkraphatdi Phong, Khwaeng Ban Bat, Khet Pom Prap Sattru Phai, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10100, Thailand
Great view from the top, takes about 45min - 1 hr to walk around, no more than 2 hours to see the whole thing. 50 baht to get in. Wearing long pants is always appropriate, but if you’re a guy and you wear shorts, I’ve never had anyone say anything. Their new display at base of mountain is a nice touch.
Night is one of the best times to visit this place. From a height of 58 meters offers panoramic views of the lights of Bangkok with beautiful temples around. The place takes you above noisy hot land to a quiet place with a cool breeze.
A must for history and religious buffs. Go all the way up the stairs to enjoy a panorama of Bangkok. Don't forget to ring the bells and gongs for good luck and to verify your fortune. Pro-tip: if you walk in confidently with a local, you can skip the 50 Baht entrance fee.
Absosultely worth every step of the 344 steps to the top for the breathtaking views! What a peaceful and centering experience. Just remember sunscreen 😂
The Temple of the Golden Mount is one of the city's oldest temples. The structure of Wat Saket is distinct because of the 80 meter high mountain. A climb to the top of the mount is a journey of more than 300 steps, and rewarded with a 360 degree view of Bangkok.
