Wat Ratchanatdaram was built in 1846 during the reign of King Rama III in Bangkok, Thailand. The temple is famous for the Loha Prasat which is a 36-meter-tall multi-tiered structure, featuring 37 metal spires, denoting the 37 virtues toward enlightenment in Buddhist belief. There are some other most important landmarks near this wat such as Monument of King Rama III, Democracy Monument, Temple of Golden Mount, the Royal Pavillion, etc.

Beautiful temple and the metal castle. The castle can be accessed to the top roof and it is a well hidden spot with view of Bangkok. The temple set up praying session on Monday and Friday 19:00-21:00 at the main Ubosod.

A temple in Bangkok which was built in 1846 during the reign of King Rama III. It is regarded the world’s only brazen palace (a building of which its roof covered by bronze tiles) in existence. Next to the temple is the King Rama II Memorial Plaza. Opening hours: Daily 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
