Had a lovely stay here, enjoyed feeding and bathing elephants and rafting through the river. Stayed in September and was cool at nights. Elephants coming to your room at breakfast is awesome and recommended! Loved the Cafe across the bridge, Mont is a legend. Had great guide with Jackie Chan & Cola in the water, you can see how much he loves his elephant. Kids loved the puppies

This place is amazing. Staying here does so much for not only the elephants, but also for the women of Thailand. If you read up on this place, they advocate for women and help the native women learn skills so that they can care for themselves out in the world. It’s such a beautiful place with an amazing mission. I had an incredible time. Definitely stay in one of the air conditioned rooms! Worth the money! It gets pretty hot. Yummy food options right on site. Highly recommend.

If you’re in Chiang Mai, most likely you want to see some elephants. This place is a sanctuary, with an ethical approach to engaging with the human-elephant relationship. You’ll be spending a lot of time with or around elephants here, and they’re pretty cute. I did one of the half-day tours, met a couple of middle-aged elephants, fed them, bathed them in the river, and etc. Great stuff. Many pleasant memories were made here. The meals are quite nice and reasonably priced, though dinner time is busy and you may need to wait a while for your food. Other than that, it’s a great place to visit.

The porches can’t be beat, the food delicious, and the staff accommodating and kind. We loved chilling on the deck and feeding the elephants before going out for an adventure each day. Absolutely loved it here. It was tough to leave

We did the overnight excursion with the elephant visit the first day and the hike the second day. We had a wonderful time and the food was AMAZING! Of course the time with the elephants was great. We also really enjoyed the ride down the river on the bamboo raft, it was so peaceful and calming, a great way to start the trip. The drive to the overnight accommodations was a bit long and bumpy, we weren’t really expecting that. The huts and the hosts were amazing, we felt at home. All in all we enjoyed our trip, but felt like it was a bit disorganized and since they had changed the accommodations recently, we were not really prepared for some of it. Great excursion if you like “roughing it” and want to experience the culture of the local tribe.
