An absolutely charming place to take a walk or enjoy a coffe . The buildings are beautifully maintained and I could stare at them for hours. It’s true there are many “ street performers” who usually create small bulks of crowds and that brings thieves too but if you are careful with your belongings you will enjoy the place and be safe :)

A very nice place to spend an evening. Surrounded by lots of bars,restaurants, hotels, and shops. You can find people who do caricatures and sell some funny toys. You can spend hours here relaxing and trying the food and drinks. Definitely a must in Madrid

It's a beautiful space, but it was packed with tourists (me included) when I was there a little before noon. Plenty of cafes to stop for a bit or drink and soak in the lovely buildings, if you don't mind the large tour groups and photo ops.

Our BnB was less than a block away for the plaza, which was very convenient. Lots of tourist spots are walking distance from the plaza. There are several good restaurants in the plaza itself and within walking distance. This place gets really lively and crowded! One of my favorite spots to hang out in Madrid.

One of the most representative places in Madrid. Unique Xmas Street market in December, quite different from the ones that you can see up North in Europe.
