Calle de Santa Isabel, 5, 28012 Madrid, Spain
The market is my favourite in Madrid . It's small and intimate and has some surprising culinary experiences. I never miss it in my frequent visits to Madrid. My favourite is a restaurant called Sinicio. Genial Chef called Jorge and his lovely wife Marta who together offer a unique culinary gift to their clients . Most recommended.
Very tiny place, compared to other local markets. Good place to find options to grab a bite. We choose Yokaloka, a sushi place, great service and food. Not cheap though.
Nice option for variety of tapas! Different vendors under one roof gives you many options. Open all day even during siesta so it’s convenient. Very popular with tourists so it was crowded and a bit pricey which is expected in such places. Similar but smaller than Time Out in Lisbon. Empanadas place has a nice variety and the mushroom/cheese one was tasty.
Try the new asian place, the Asian Army!!! It is the best meal I had in Madrid and the owners are amazing
Very neat and clean market close to where we are staying. Enjoyed a quick meal from one of the shops.
