The best beach in Ballito to have a swim. Lifeguards always on duty, water is great, beach is clean. Busier in the mornings, best time to go is 7am - 11am. Check out the lagoon to the right and you can safely hike from Thompsons beach through to main/Willard beach in about 20min.

Great beach, small bay but large beach. Huge tidal pool. Big enough for training swims. Careful as there are urchins on the sides of the pool.

Thompsons beach is a safe beach to be on. The life guards are well trained and eager to help with anything. Lovely tidal pool for young and old. Absolutely our favorite place to be!

One of the biggest and best Tidal Pools I have ever seen. There are live coral, sea urchins and fish in the pool. There is also a cave that you can walk through at the south and of the pool. A definite must see.

The famous Hole In The Wall at Thompsons Beach brings all types of people. Some to enjoy the lovely beaches on the left or the tidal pool in the middle. On the left however is the more popular hole in the wall,which is a drawcard for photographers and their models.
