We had a great Whiskey tasting!! The guy behind the bar did an excellent job. Nothing to complain. Whenever I’ll be again in Stavoren I’ll better reserve a table in this restaurant 😊

Super tasty and beautiful restaurant ! The staff is also very friendly, it was a surprise of delights and a pleasure to get this experience in this Scottish Dutch restaurant !

Great food, friendly staff and an amazing collection of whiskies. Heerlijk to have a little taste of home with the haggis, sticky toffee pudding and a wee dram of Old Pulteney! Haggis is made specially for them and there is the possibility to purchase some for home if there is enough supply. Staff are very warm and accomodating. Restaurant is light, airy and warm - felt like I might walk outside into the Highlands than Friesland. Take the time to try a whisky at the end of the night by the bar. Get individual advice with the option of trying before commiting to a full glass. They also do small measures for a cheaper price if you would prefer to indulge in a variety!

Second time we visited Stavoren and had dinner at the Schots Restaurant Stadsboederij. We ordered the 5 course dinner with whiskey pairing . Each bite and each sip was delicious. Knowledge and serving excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant!
