Laugavegur 59 Kjörgarður, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland
One the most visited store in Iceland for the locals and probably for travellers too who already did research about Iceland. Bonus Laugavegur is the most busiest one compare to others. Thanks to them they added more self-cashiers to make this line go quicker and has a helpful guide for the machines if you have an issue with it. Bonus offers what you need for basic, however hoping to see more variety on products.
Good place for travellers to get simple groceries for day trips and whatnot. Great way to save some money if you don’t want to eat in restaurants all the time.
Relatively small supermarket. Good value but some things lack quality like fruit and veggies, for example avocadoa are totally terrible. Anyway, best grocery store on the area. Would recommend. Harbor area have bigger and better grocery stores, but it is couple kilometers. A bit crowded in the evenings but self service registers helps. The self service registers are just a bit annoyning asking all the time about out how many items (it is always one) and how many plastic bags (never use any).
Grear grocery store in easy location. The cheerful yellow and fuschia shopping bags make great Iceland souvenirs.
Though a relatively small supermarket, it offers the most basic items with a fair price. Your best choice in the shopping street of Reykjavik.
