6 Brekkutún, Hoyvík 188, Faroe Islands
This is a great museum. It's not too big and so offers a concise overview of the geology, history and culture of the Faroes. Your ticket includes admission to the open air museum nearby which is also worth noting.
Nice visit on a rainy day. Good mix of introduction to local species, geology and way of life. Kids loved it too.
Fine museum by all means covering everything about the Faroes from geology, flora and fauna to contemporary sports. Bloodsports excluded. If you're really keen and interested like me you can spend at least a couple of hours here. Mind you it's a fair way from the city centre.
Fantastic small museum. I learned a lot.
A nice museum with a collection centered around the islands' fishing trade.
