CLOSED WINTERS. The drive is not well-suited for low-clearance two-wheel drive cars. Plan for the drive to take an hour one way.

Juniper Vacation Rentals:Belle's Camp at the top of Blue Skye Basin is a famous spot for locals to grill out for lunch on a sunny warmer day. It's bring your own food (there's minimal food in the hut) and alcohol is allowed since it's within a state park. Just be careful because it's expert only (easiest run is a blue) back with no downloading available. And go early if you want a table or plan to share.

Juniper Vacation Rentals:CLOSED WINTERS. Arguably the most beautiful and picturesque lake near Vail. It's only 10miles, but up a dirt road with many potholes. So plan for it to take about an hour to get there, but it's worth it for hikes, fishing, canoeing, SUPing, and more! There's a restaurant and ice cream shop too :)
