A great park that is used by the locals and a worthwhile quick visit by anyone visiting the city. We cut through the park on our way to the War Remnants Museum, and would recommend it over keeping to the streets. The lush green plant life and authentic local buzz makes for a good slice of Vietnamese city life.

This place is a good place that you can enjoy your weekends with friends of family. The children's playgrounds are super busy and please make sure that you keep your eyes on your kids otherwise you are doomed. There are many group of teenagers playing team building games as well and they are super loud. If you want to read a book in quite, I suggest you should go to the other side of the park (that close to Nguyen Du). Staying away from the playground as far as you could, this is also a good idea for your nap as well. Around 3pm to 6pm, you will see a lot of people do exercises or jog around the park, make sure that you follow the flow of people otherwise the space will be limited. Some vending machines are broken and the convenience store is quite far away, so please bring prepare at least one bottle of water. You don't wanna be dehydrated, especially in summer.

It's one of the best park in Ho chi Minh City w/ many green trees, beautiful flowers. The paths are keeping clean and in good security condition. Foreigners and local appreciate this park for years.

A wild greenery area with variety of facility for different kinds of outdoor activities. Special structural area such as cactus garden and Cham tower could be found here. There is also a Hung King temple - worshipping the very early ancestors of the Vietnamese. Scout activities are isually held at this park. And on Tet holiday there would be flora festival hosted annually.

One of the popular park in Saigon is Tao Dan, located in center of district 1 nearby the Independence Palace. I arrived here in 6pm so the pictures are less bright. The place is very peaceful where many citizen can come here for jogging, playing badminton, or exercising... I love this place.
