The soup was nothing out of ordinary when it first came up, but you got to decide the taste of it, after you added the certain amount of lemon, spice, leaves... the soup became better taste, just the way I like. That’s why I gave it a four star!!! Btw, the beef was real fresh for sure.
Beautiful Pho!! The vegetable and sauce options at the table are a bonus! Also great prices for the big bowl you get. We will definitely be returning here before we leave Ho Chi Minh!
First local pho experience and it didn't disappoint. Not sure if it's authentic or not, but it was a good meal. The raw beef was a bit chewy for my liking, and it seems like the brisket or flank are the more popular options.
As it’s my first pho in Vietnam ever I find the broth very average. The noodles and the fried egg rolls are amazing though. FYI 90,000 D for the combination beef noodle. 60,000 D for egg rolls
Last time we ate here was around 2012. Now seven years later and a lot of pho bowls in between, I'd say it's alright. The flavor is definitely there but not as intense as we remembered. Beef slices are also quite inconsistent and some can be quite thick.
