Lát, Lạc Dương District, Lâm Đồng, Vietnam
Giving it a 5 stars even though I didn't make it there. The last 2+km or so was very steep and VERY rocky. Easier to go via car, or if you don't have a pillion (like me). Unless you're really skilled and riding a really good bike.
This is a pretty location that offers coffee. It was apparently in a Vietnamese movie called 49 days. It's quiet and serene, but it is quite the ride to get here. You'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, because you'll actually be in the middle of nowhere and then all of a sudden this place will appear. It has a beautiful small bridge to take a nice photo.
The place is pretty and peaceful and delivers what it promises. There are some cute resident cats and dogs and fish to see and pet and feed. Very quaint and good photos on the bridge and platform on the lake. Keep in mind though that the road is absolutely terrible driving in for the last few km. I don't generally complain about road quality, but this road is not for beginner scooter drivers, even experienced drivers will spend most of the time cursing. It is steep and rocky and slippery with loose gravel, some times it feels like you are scrambling up a rocky hiking slope on a scooter.
It's totally hard to get there. And the drinks are completely bad. However, the landscape is beautiful and I like the villa
Nice homestay with beautiful view. It has very fresh air. Should stay for a night and enjoy sound of frogs. Very good BBQ with fair price. The only minus is road to homestay quite tough. You can feed fishes with only 10k/bag fish food. Back to nature and very peaceful.
