2 Hùng Vương, Điện Bàn, Ba Đình, Hà Nội 100000, Vietnam
This is a very famous spot that people who go to Vietnam must visit. This is where the body of Ho Chi Minh, the communist leader who won independence of Vietnam from the external forces. He is a revered figure in the Vietnamese history and also be the citizens of the country. The entire place is dedicated to him and also showcases various activities and the houses Ho Chi Minh stayed in. It's a beautifully maintained place with lush greenery. Also be sure to not wear shorts or off shoulder tops here. They are very particular on dress code here. They also do not allow fluids like water etc here. There is security check here.
Very communist building, reminds me of a similar one on the red square in Moscow. It is a very nice and imponente square. Here lies the body of Ho Chi Minh. It’s a nice place to go for a walk! Cover shoulders and legs going into this area! Also you go through a metal detector!
Super glad we went, the line wasn’t too bad, it was constantly moving at least. We tried the day before to go but it was closed (although it isn’t usually noted online when it’s closed or not so unfortunately you just have to go to find out) it was a really cool experience I would recommend!
Didn't visit it. Only outside. It is the place where they worship the country hero. So it's a special atmosphere...you have the one pillar pagoda just behind
Definitely a landmark in Hanoi that is by far worth a visit; Expect this to take most if not an entire day; it can get extremely busy. I would suggest going early as the line for entry can get very long and access is limited. When I was there, photos were prohibited inside
