Fansipan, Tam Đường District, Lai Chau, Vietnam
Strongly advise to trek up rather than taking the cable car. The views on the way are stunning. Of course you need to be in reasonable physical state, but the trek is in no way difficult. There are 3 ways up, you can choose the easiest way (via Tram ton) if you think you can’t do the other longer routes. via tram ton pass, it’s just a 6 hour trek to the top (with stops/breaks included)
The cable car ride to the top in itself is already gorgeous. When we arrived at the top though, we didn’t see anything but clouds. You really have to pick the perfect timing to go up or be lucky if you want to see something from the top. Nevertheless, would still recommend it, even though it’s quite expensive (700,000d/person).
A very cold whether condition... a great experience in one of highest mountain in Vietnam 🇻🇳. If you go there please take your winter suits and get ready for raining, windy 🌬 weather conditions too!!!!
The view was absolutely breathtaking! It was so mesmerizing, with all the clouds floating, I honestly thought I died and went to heaven! If you go to Sapa, then you definitely HAVE TO visit this place. The air was so so fresh, but it gets colder up there so make sure you dressed warm.
It was breathtaking and a moving experience from the sky tram up to the walk in the clouds. Amazing!
