53 Cao Thắng, Phường 3, Quận 3, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam
The place is small as you sit along the alley for breakfast. But this is so popular with many little stores in this city. Food is good and tasty, Banh Mi is crunchy. service is fast and friendly. Try to come between 7am-9:30am otherwise it can be too late as there is no more left. It costs me 54K vnd as the photo below.
Good and cheap place for breakfast. The bread is nice and crunchy. It was fun to sit on little chairs with tables that they set up anywhere on the street.
Even though this is a Banh Mi place, we went there for breakfast early in the morning (you eat in the alley) and it was absolutely one of our highlights in Saigon. If you want a good salty & greasy typical Vietnamese breakfast, this is the way to go. Super cheap, super delicious & super friendly staff. Go there already! You can thank me later.
The breakfast here is so good! They mainly serve a tourist crowd though, so I think there might be other more local places that are cheaper. But I’m very happy with the breakfast :) Their Vietnamese coffee is also super good! Really recommend this place.
I read an article on parts unknown that featured Banh Mi Hoa Ma and automatically added this place to our 4-day Vietnam itinerary. Enjoyed our breakfast here - we each had Banh Mi Op La, which was bread plus fried eggs, assorted meats and a few veggies. We also ordered iced coffee with condensed milk, which was to die for!!! Even though it’s situated on the street, we liked the vibe of the place and had a great time having a traditional Vietnamese breakfast. Service was fast. Will definitely recommend! 👍🏻
