Lower Antelope Canyon

Juliana:Tip: Cheaper and less touristy than the Upper Antelope Canyon! It's owned by the Native Americans and therefore not included in the "America the Beautiful Pass". Still worth its entrance fees which are about 30$.

Big Sur

Juliana:Beautiful hidden place along the Highway 1. Totally worth a stop for a nice holiday shot!

Zion National Park

Juliana:A beautiful national park for hiking or just driving through. I wish I would hava had more time to hike and explore the park from different perspectives.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Juliana:Really funny to see! And so different to the other Canyons. If you intend to also see the Antelope Canyon and the Zion National Park you should not miss this one here, it's on the way! ;-)

Grand Canyon National Park

Juliana:No words needed here. The Grand Canyon is an absolute must when you go for a road trip in the west of the US. Just make sure to book a spot at the campground before you go there.

Yosemite Valley

Juliana:If you want to stay there for longer than only one day (You should!!) you should totally make a reservation to get a spot at the campground in the Yosemite Valley. The park is just stunning and the most popular things are the view on the Half Dome and El Capitan.

Joshua Tree National Park

Juliana:If you head from San Diego to the Grand Canyon, you should totally take the road through the Joshua Tree National Park.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Juliana:Expensive but worth a visit, especially for Harry Potter Fans like me! :)

Juliana:For me the nicest city in California that I have visited so far! Small in comparison to Los Angeles or San Francisco but sooo beautiful with the huge palm trees along the beach and its cute city center.

Juliana:Just strolling or driving around the residential area is a nice activitiy. You will be fascinated by the size of the rich peoples houses if they are not totally hidden by huge walls.

Juliana:The best cheesecakes ever 😍 But after one piece you are full for the rest of the day! And it was a bit disappointing that I haven’t met Penny there 😉

Juliana:A nice small town on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is not that much to do but it was a really nice view on San Francisco from the other side and also the town itself with its houses on the rocks looks really nice.

Juliana:SOOO HOT! Really interesting to see though. It's the lowest point in the US and therefore one of the hottest places in the world. You will also see the salt lake which is dried out. DON'T FORGET TO TAKE ENOUGH WATER WITH YOU! And make sure you have enough gas ;)
