We always enjoy the zoo. I love it because it’s the perfect level of greatness for a family outing. Not too much, not too little. Kids love the petting zoo, rides and splash park. The carousel it’s always a favorite for my autistic son. The little train ride is my youngest favorite. They’ve done a great job at updating the fencing areas around the exhibits. We love having annual passes to visit during creatures of the night and Christmas time.

What a Great place, everyone who goes there has a Great time. The staff is walking around and answers any questions their guests have. Most helpful and friendly! Highly recommended. Beautiful place! Ten thumbs up!!

It has been a couple years since we visited the zoo and we're pleased with some of the changes. The venue is nice and clean still, the animals look good and even though it was a hot day, they didn't seem bothered. This is a nice place to bring the family. Take your time and enjoy the displays. .. or in the case of the Orangutans, being on display. :)

My kids loved the kids area! The bonus is that everything is free! They can let animals and ride all the rides at no cost. There is a height requirement, but my tall 2yo was able to ride everything. They also liked the water area. It's such a fun zoo!

I have two small children and ZooTampa is the perfect place to spend the day with little ones. My kids love to see the animals, go on the rides, and play in the splash pad area. We’ve also done Busch Gardens but if I’m alone with the kids and want something to do for half of the day, Busch Gardens is too difficult (too much walking, too many people, etc). ZooTampa is perfect if you just have a couple of hours and don’t want to walk a million miles. However, there’s enough to do that you can spend the whole day as well. Their prices are also super reasonable. We usually do the family annual pass and can bring a guest with us when we come. They’re special events are great, too! We go every Christmas and love how they decorate - they also have musicians and dancers throughout the park.
