The Food 5 stars: We had the Jerk Chicken Mac, the Lobster Mac with Shrimp added, and the Cheese pizza. We also had the homemade lemonades. All of it was VERY tasty especially the shrimp! The cheesy combination was absolutely pleasing to the pallette! The Service 1 star: This night the kitchen simply didn't have a clue of how to run a kitchen! My husband's food (Jerk) came out decently timed but since they only brought his, we told him to "go ahead and eat so it doesn't get cold". Little did we know that my daughter's food (simple cheese pizza) would come out 30 minutes later!!! Husband was done with his by the time that came out. And then there was my order....I KID YOU NOT ...it came out an hour and half AFTER my husband's food came. What kind of kitchen doesn't group the table's food together!? That was just absurd and downright disrespectful for a dinner together! One caveat, we did have a party of ten but I am only speaking to my little family's experience, but I will tell you of the 10, only 4 people got their food in a timely manner, the rest trickled out, and mine came out the absolute last. By the time I got my Lobster Mac with Shrimp, everyone else was done and ready to go, so I didn't really get to enjoy MY meal and I wasn't even hungry anymore! The waiter rarely checked on us because the food came out so few a far between. We didn't get asked if we wanted drink refills, nothing. I know the wait staff has little to do with the kitchen cook disaster, but they could have checked on us to let us know what was going on with the food! And the waiter had to keep asking US what was missing from our orders.... absolutely unacceptable. To try to rectify the situation the waiter said that 15% would come off the bill per the manager. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN! But at this point we didn't feel like arguing and we were ready to go and never come back! It can't be this bad all the time, but I definitely didn't expect this on a Wednesday mid-week evening. We were all on vacation and this was MY personal worst experience of the week and I won't be back!

The line was long when we arrived, but moved rather quickly. Security outside was cool and knowledgeable about the food selection. They had a few technical issues we experienced that caused our food to be delayed. The owner was honest and upfront about the challenges with moving into their new building. He took good care of us and the food was delicious! Servers were all sweet and professional!

Hands done the best World Famous House of Mac in the world. I landed in LAX and this was my first stop. Long, and I truly mean LONG, lines but believe me when I say WORTH IT. The chicken SLAPS! Melts in your mouth and perfectly seasoned. Every single corner and edge of that chicken breast was blessed by God himself.

I’ve passed this place and always wanted to try. Finally walked in last night. The best Mac and Cheese I’ve ever had. James was an absolute charm, even with him being the only server on a busy night. He answered all our questions about the food, and the food lived up to the service. Will be back and will bring out of town friends in to try. Thanks James!
