Doesn't look very creepy from the outside. Had the dog with us so we couldn't do the tour, maybe next time.

Would of been better if they offered a tour with a guide

First off, myself and 3 friends drove 7.5 hours from southern Wisconsin to come to the house. It's been a dream for a long, long time. Now for the reviews... 2 stars for the woman (assuming she is the owner) that i spoke with on the phone a few weeks ago when I called inquiring about overnights and basic information. She was nice compared to what happened when we got there. No stars at all for the young lady manning the office when we arrived. We finally arrived at the house after all of the driving at about 3:23 pm. We read that the last tour is at 3:30, and that they close at 4. She has said the last group was already in the house. She told me, after I told her we just drove almost 8 hours just for this, that "the last tour is happening right now, you have 5 minutes." I said "it isn't even 3:30 yet!". Finally she decided she was busted, took our money (happily), and asked us "do you know the story, or...". We said yes, and finally went in. There was NOT ONE PERSON in the house, touring. She was very annoyed that we were even there, she was ready to leave. 5+ stars for this incredible house. I won't go into details on our findings, but it was an amazing experience. Exactly 4:00 she came in and said "we're closed". We asked her as we were exiting if she'd ever come in and play ball with the kids. She said "no, I think it's just an old house." She was a total bummer. We just had experiences and were thrilled, and she just stood there and acted holier than thou and totally a non believer. Very, VERY unpleasant girl! We came outside, and before we could even ask her to take a picture of our group in front of the house, she was in her car and gone. Please hire people who actually care about this house, this beautiful and tragic family, and the people who fund her paycheck. Also, basic customer service skills would be great. However, a million stars for the kitties!!!!!!!!!!!! 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

Martha (the owner) is a gem and Johnny (tour guide/caretaker) is awesome. They were both so helpful and welcoming! Our overnight stay was fantastic. Although there were definitely some unexplained sounds/sights/feelings, we made it through the whole night and even got some sleep. 10/10 would recommend. There's a lot to experience and learn here. Update: came back to review the cats! Can't believe I forgot them. We named them George (the tabby) and Sammy (the gray). They are the best bois. Pro tip- if George gets in the house and you can't find him, he's on the parents' bed upstairs.

Was skeptical about coming here due to all the reviews talking about a rude lady who owns the property. How ever it’s an older man who owns the property. The office agent was a dude. Really cool and nice and knew all about the history of the house and the murders. We were actually able to catch some orbs on our phones in the closet where the two girls were murdered that room felt very heavy and Erie . Take a photo in the closet with flash on and no matter how still you are standing you will see a figure in the photo or a orb passing by very fast. Highly recommend this place especially if you are into paranormal things!
