This trip is so worth it!! Clean and well kept! Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Happy and well mannered “wild” animals. They’re right on schedule to keep you busy for the whole day. We spent seven hours here and it was a fantastic family day trip. We especially bonded with Ashley. She was in charge of the bird show today. She was extremely friendly, courteous and willing to chat with us. She took the time to take pictures with us and give us a closer look with the birds. We will definitely come back. This time we did the Dolphin wade which was perfect for a first time Dolphin encounter. Can’t wait to do the Dolphin swim and all the other programs they offer! Bravo theater of the sea 😇

Those who run and work at the Theater of the Sea have a true love of both the animals and the plants under their care. As much a jungle and a zoo as place for guests to watch the animals perform, the interactive moments like painting, wading, or swimming with the animals allows you to really see how happy and well cared they are. The performances show that the trainers are just as well. Being able to paint with the dolphins before going to visit the sea lions, parrots, parakeets, sea turtles, macaws, and alligators was something novel and deeply moving for me. I have always heard how intelligent dolphins were but this means nothing compared with looking Julie (the dolphin) right in the eye, touching her warm skin, and being able to communicate directly with her. A fantastic spot for all lovers of sea life or anything living for that matter.

Stopped by on a whim, was skeptical at first but ended up having a really good time! They have a regular rotation of shows and once you get into the pattern you'll get to see them all in a couple of hours. We enjoyed them all, but the dolphin show was truly world class! I mean, its amazing. Nice little stop off while you're driving through the keys. If you've got the time, definitely stop by.

So so much fun! Very handicap friendly. Was able to visit every part of the park. The staff is VERY friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals. Everything was very fun and also educational. They have good food and drinks for in between shows and the facility was very clean! Everyone working there seemed happy to be there and energetic! During the shows, they allow time for pictures of all the animals. It's very nice. They also heavily enforced the mask mandate which not enough places do, over all great place. Definitely worth it!

What a cool place! We’re so happy we stopped. We didn’t do any of the “encounters” but did do everything else. Plan to spend a minimum of 3 hours and arrive early. The park has scheduled shows/informational sessions for each of their habitats - sea turtles, alligators, crocodile, parrots, sharks, sea lions, dolphins, and boat ride. Nice staff, clean park. The animals are well cared for, and are rescues that wouldn’t survive on their own in the wild.
