This review is directed towards The View Lounge management. Update your voicemail dummies. CLOSED. CLOSED. CLOSED. Yes the site on google says its open and the phone number you call for The View lounge says its open and governor Newsom can waffle between whats allowed in regards to indoor dining but dont let yourself be fooled...TRUST AND BELIEVE THIS PLACE IS CLOSED!!

Awesome wait staff - It is rare for me to find a bartender who consistently watches my drink to make sure it's not gone. I thought the group of bartenders had good chemistry with each other and found that they really hustle under pressure.

Here for Mother's Day. Order the HIGASHIYAMA course on the menu for all four of us. Paired with bottle of sake and bottle of wine. The chef does not pass on hardly information about each dish except where the ingredients are from. The service was average as not much information was told to us. Good thing my wife is Japanese and she did study aboard in Japan in college, so she can explain the dishes and the sauces that goes with each dish.

Fancy cocktails with a view! What I appreciate about this high end cocktail stop is that it is still fairly casual. No need to dress fancy here, but you can if you want to! It is usually seat yourself which can be good or bad depending on your perspective. Even when mostly full, there is room to walk around and mingle or check out the view on another side.
