When my friends and I decided to be tourists in our own state for a change, it was the best road trip ever! We had to add this to the list... Definitely worth the visit! I'll never forget our visit there... It helped us understand the influence of JFK and why this might have happened... it left an impact on us.
This is a great little museum. I thought that we would be in and out in 45 min but we were there for twice that long. There is a plethora on information via placards, videos and vintage items to see. I thought that I knew the story of the assassination pretty well but I discovered so much more. The tickets are moderately priced, there is parking on site (for a fee) and there are lots of restaurants and sandwich shops nearby to grab a bite to eat. For anyone who lives in the DFW area, or if you are just visiting, it is a great little day trip.
Absolutely amazing! Extremely informative museum loaded with original items from the time period. Very easy to navigate and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Please take some time to see this part of American history. I would love to take my family.
WOW. The historical enrichment and information here is astounding. The audiobooks and the exhibits were so interesting to observe, and I can safely say, I’ve NEVER seen anything like it. When I went, only my family was there, but it felt so complete and the fact that you can see the “x” on the road where JFK was shot is crazy!!
Excellent place to experience the Kennedy assassination in depth. Inside the museum is a wealth of information. Over at the Grassy Knoll is an exhibit that covers the proposed second shooter, as well as, the aftermath at Parkland Hospital. Very educational!!!
