We have stayed at the Coho several times and absolutely love this small ocean front hotel. The views are fabulous and the sunsets are breathtaking. The staff is awesome. They bend over backwards to make sure that their guests are happy. The only bad things that I can share is their breakfasts are skimpy and not real good. They recently expanded the hotel and parking can get pretty tough. Most of the parking spaces are labeled for compact cars and are tiny. They do however have an overflow lot across the street. Some customers purposely take up two spaces and that really cuts into the available parking. To be fair there is little room that they could use for parking and they make the best of what they have.

This place is special! The lodge itself is beautiful and cozy. Their customer service is the best in the city. They really go out of their way to make your stay a nice experience! The staff is amazing! They have a positive vibe that instantly makes you feel like family. Thank you guys for making me feel at home!

PROS: The hotel does have great location, good amenities with a new remodeled lobby and fire pits outside for the guests to enjoy the gorgeous view. CONS: When my husband went to take a shower, there were BLACK HAIR on the floor and walls of the shower! THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! Additionally, hotel should be known for its comfortable beds so the guest can get a good night rest. The PILLOWS ARE HARD AS A ROCK!! I prefer a softer pillow and every single pillow in the room was HARD. After tossing and turning, at 3 a.m. I called front desk asking to bring me a soft pillow, they did, but it was exactly the same as the rest of them. I did not sleep all night! Finally, rooms have unpleasant smell. At the check out, we expressed our concern to the front desk. They apologized and offered us a bottle of wine and reduced our stay. The staff was apologetic and nice. They said that they will pass this message on to house keeping management.

We had a great experience here. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. They had movies to borrow for free and homemade cookies. They upgraded our room which was gorgeous (jetted tub with a view of the ocean... dreamy!) we saw whales with the binoculars they provided and the continental breakfast was nice - nothing too special but I’m always happy when they have the make-it-yourself waffle station. They also let us arrive a few hours early which was so nice.

We have stayed here a couple times and it always felt like a second home! When we got there this time we loved the new remodel and especially our suite! When we checked in everyone was so nice . We had signed saying we didn’t need housekeeping at that time. The next day when we were heading out to check things out we left the sign on the door saying we were in the room and didn’t want housekeeping ! When we returned we found that housekeeping had come into our room after our request for none. We felt very uncomfortable and felt like why would the front desk ask us and why have the signs if they will do whatever they want. When we brought it up at checkout it was treated like no big deal. we love it here but not sure if we will be back at this point.
