Lovely Boardwalk with a restaurants and shopping, ice cream and a splash pad for the kids - all overlooking the Gulf. Enjoy the view while dining and watching beach volleyball and people go by. I love this because it’s so wide and not as crowded as Destin. Vacationers can walk up to the Island hotel Beach Bar and grab a beverage and watch the ocean from their large awnings in the shade.
Good clean beaches. Boardwalk has great shops as well as awesome restaurants. Good for family or just time relax time with friends. A good fishing pier and over 3 miles of beach where you can walk to the jetties and the East Pass.
Our favorite spot at Okaloosa Island! The live music, entertainment and festivities at Al's Beach Club was awesome! We also enjoyed dinner at The Crab Trap, I recommend the crab cake & fried green tomato. Don't miss the fireworks on Wednesday night, it's awesome! We love this place💙
We're able to find parking relatively "easy" when we arrive in the afternoon. We're slow to get out of the house in the morning but always seem to find a spot there on the Island at the Boardwalk. At the end of our beach trip my family enjoys some Gelato there. There's a playground area too-just to make sure you get the kiddos really tired for bed time. Chairs and umbrellas are set up to rent. Free parking. It's near the pier. We saw dolphins while there too!
Just a few places to eat-tourist trap for sure. A couple of shops and the pier. You can walk the pier or fish off of it. We saw dolphins off the pier so that was pretty neat. Spent a couple of hours here then went on to Destin boardwalk.
