The pier is good for viewing ship sales and other water activities going on around, picture taking, fishing. The rocks are very interesting for adventurers (it is fun walking on the rocks just have to be careful) and the beach is very nice for everyone, safe for kids as it has a good shallow part. Families would love it

This is a great place to go early in the morning. If your lucky and there are no clouds, the sunrise over the water is amazing. But just being out by the water in the morning is nice. You can also see some big cargo ships leaving from there which is cool. Also, a great place to go running.

This place is beautiful! If you're visiting Miami or showing people around definitely come here and see the real beauty of Miami Beach. This pier is surrounded by the most incredibly clear blue water. From it you can see all of South Beach, it's many skyscrapers and beautiful sights. It's also just off the path for the cruise ships leaving the Port of Miami so you can wave to all the people leaving on their vacations.

South Point Park Pier is one of my favorite places in Miami. The park is great for walking, cycling, exercise or simply sitting on perfectly manicured grass to rest in the shade of the plam trees. The Pier is a work of art. The beautiful and modern beehive-shaped platform with benches and shaded area to watch the sea. Not to mention the fishing structure, which is great! Worth the visit!

What a wonderful place for a morning stroll! It's a beautiful place to watch the sun come up! Also a great place to watch the next generation of model work with photographers, if you're interested in finding ways to frame a shot!
