Incredible experience. Booked a reservation for five people on Wednesday night, and after enjoying our oysters and wine, the chef came to our table to introduce himself. We received a tour of the restaurant and the chef let us sample a few varieties of salt that we could use with our fish. The varieties of salt are located next to the fish showcased on ice in front of the restaurant. My interpretation of his vision for the restaurant is ingredients of the highest quality that are executed in a simple yet sophisticated way. The meal was perfection. We dinned throughout the night and even though the restaurant was closing we were never asked to leave. Delicious food and excellent service.

Fine dining restaurant but was surprised there is an early bird menu from 3-6pm. If not too picky, it's good deal with decent selections. Raw oyster is $1 each, that's a good deal. The deco and service of course are excellent. Another surprise is free dessert on your birthday and free big cotton candy after your meal.

Words cannot express how truly wonderful our experience was with Sea Salt Restaurant St. Petersburg, Florida! upon booking our wedding dinner with Maryl who, was the most wonderful event organizer and took time to speak to me anytime I needed she put together our entire event and guided me the whole way with what would be best for our event. On our wedding day, not only was the presentation of our table settings, the appetizers, the dinner and dessert done to perfection, but our host Ryan and the entire wait staff was perfect. I cannot tell you how impressed our guests were and what a wonderful time we all had. I highly recommend Sea Salt for not only the delicious food but for the entire experience. I rate this restaurant with 5 stars and each year we will be back to celebrate our Anniversary, I cannot wait!

Sea salt has a great atmosphere and food. This is an expensive restaurant, the quality and service matches the price. When you get a whole fish, they bring it to your table to allow you to inspect it before they cook it. They also serve the fish in front of you before you eat it, asking you if you’d like to keep the tail and head. The waitress, Lily, had overheard our family was celebrating a birthday and brought us a desert and surprisingly two cotton candies, it was a pleasant surprise. If your on a budget, the happy hour has a fantastic menu for half the price.

While the food was good, the service was just alright. The wine selection was very nice and they have some great French wines on the list. Everything started out great but then things slowed down and the main course came out Luke warm to half the table after a long wait. Taste, choices and presentation was all great. However, it’s hard to look past food that was probably sitting ready for a bit before it got to the table. Fresh fish selection was also wide ranging which is nice.
