Can’t wait for the bathhouse to be open again! I steam at least once a week. It makes my body feel amazing, my face glow, and I truly feel it cleanses my soul. There’s definitely a reason people have been doing this for centuries! Whenever I’m feeling a little extra, or if I bring my friends for their birthday we get the black Dead Sea mud. It smells and feels like nature, it’s amazing it’s not like those fruity chemical masks you get at target, it’s the real deal. I also always grab lunch when I go there! How i miss the borscht and potato perogies, I’m drooling thinking of them now. I usually bring my food up to their roof deck where there’s lots of other steamers to hang out with and get to know! I have met so many new friends at the schvitz! I really cannot wait to be back here sweating it out in the heat!

This is the best place in New York for a proper steam; you can meet interesting people too. Good place to eat though that is expensive.... the whole ordeal is a bit more than it should be , but I guess the overhead is high.

My first time visiting New York I wanted to find and do something out of the ordinary. Spent a few hours in the evening here and it was amazing. The steam rooms were amazing. The "Russian" room I could only stay a few short min. way to hot for me. The Ice bath was cold a refreshing. Mixed crowd of all ages and gender. Will defiantly go back again when I visit NYC again.

Really old school in here. They only have 1 bath/spa and it’s a cold plunge! They have about 5-6 different saunas. Came here on a co-ed day. They provide a robe, towels and slippers but you should definitely bring your own sandals/slippers. I won’t be coming back here.

I'll start with... I will be going back. Don't expect too much, as they are there to pump steam, provide intense heat and to top it all off with near freezing water. It's not about the aesthetics there. You want sauna, you effing got it. With that said, I Strongly recommend going there. It's an experience. No fluff. I spent an hour and a half going back and forth through the different rooms. The more time I spent there, the more I appreciated how darn simple it was. I will be buying their "card" and I will go here after work when I can. Go for it. Give it a shot. Totally worth it.
