First time I've done this hike. I LOVED it!!! My new favorite hike. There are different trails that lead to the waterfall. The shortest and easiest one is 5 miles round trip. We couldn't take that one all the way because a bridge was washed out and they were rebuilding it, so we had to tack on an extra section. Our hike was a little over 7 miles round trip. It was fun and gorgeous!!!

We accidentally went on the 8 mile hike. It definitely was a trip. The walk is beautiful in the forest. You are surrounded by lush greens. It feels very secluded but, just when it gets scary there are other hikers that walk by. This hike isn't for the weak of heart. I biffed it pretty hard at one point but, I kept going. We finally reached the waterfall and we were sweaty everywhere. The waterfall was beautiful but, then you realize that you have to walk all the way back. When we got to our car we could barely use our legs. We drove straight to Frankie's, for pizza, beer and ice cream - we deserved it after that...didn't feel guilty about the calories at all.

Beautiful park. We drove here and bought a day parking pass. We chose the waterfall trail. The trail was beautiful. We took bikes right until 0.7 miles to the end of the trail and then walked up to the waterfall. We caught a couple of Banana snails too! Added a picture of the beautiful creature. Not as much water as I had expected. The waterfall was small. Added pictures for everyone to see. It took us a couple of hours to complete the trail. All in all a beautiful trail.

The place was great! There were real bathrooms and showers at the campground. No wifi sadly. It would be nice if there were locking trash bins, so the little animals couldn't get in. The only thing I did not like was that the "north trail" had markers at every trail fork saying both were the north trail.

You can walk for minutes or hours. If you’re up for it, the waterfall area does not disappoint. The banana slugs, wild berries (don’t eat), and wild mushrooms all around make this a fun but peaceful walk.
