Enjoyed the food, though I am not fond of the chili stew, it was more veggies than meat. Need better sides to go with their BBQ. Their sauces are good, not vinegary. Better desserts needed. The puddings are good, just no varity. Pecan is not homemade so I skip it. Perhaps adding macaroni salad, green beans, and macaroni and cheese.

This was my first experience at Rudy's and it was a great one. I mentioned how it was my first time there and they were very helpful. Nice friendly staff at this location. Stephanie and another gentleman (forgot to get his name) had great customer service. I definitely will be back. Food was delicious and tender. Trying desert next time too!

Went to this Rudy’s last night and it was very disappointing. It took forever just to get to the front of the line. The food was not so good. My boyfriend and I always go to the Rudy’s located in Spring, Texas and sometimes the line is out the door and they get through every customer quickly, no complications and the food taste amazing, staff walk around asking if everything is okay, also making sure tables are clean and this location in Katy did not do that at all. Employees worked extremely slow like they didn’t want to be there, our cashier was very nice. The food wasn’t horrible but it was okay!! Will chose Spring location over this one. We happened to be round Katy, but we will continue to go to the Spring Location.

Always enjoy the food. The green chili stew is my favorite. Could use some better fountain drinks, like tractor company, with different flavored juices and teas. Some additional bbq flavors, such as very hot etc. would also be a great addition. Just the 2 sauces is not enough.
