This place has been on my restaurant bucket list for so long. It certainly did not disappoint. Marcus is always so creative and talented on the Food Network and finally I can say his dishes are as good as they look. Everything was top notch. I never saw restaurant staff so on point. Tending to our every needs immediately and showing a real passion for their occupation. The cocktails are unique and wonderful and if you go there, order the fried chicken. It was the best I ever had. Everything on the menu was either new to me, or a combination I never tried before. Collard green Mac and cheese is something I would never even imagine but it was stellar. Even the dipping sauces made me question each dunk. They were THAT good. I couldn't be happier with my experience here and it was Everything and more I could hope for.

Really amazing food, we had such a variety and seasoning and taste were always on point. I even had the devil's egg around afternoon, which I don't like eating eggs after 12 and they were amazing, so soft and just melt in your mouth. ALL the food was 10/10, the freshness of it 10/10, the flavor of it 10/10 the drinks even non-alcoholic ones were 10/10, the service was 10/10, the place itself is so unique, so much to look at and learn 10/10, the ambience 10/10 it's a great experience overall, great being short adjective to describe it. The herbs they use on cocktails or non alcoholic beverages they grow right there, you can see them and everything is just so fresh. So much more good things, great things to say about this place. HUGE variety of food, drinks and even nice tea and honey! If you are in the area, even visiting is a spot you definitely have to go, I will even dare to say just separate a day to go there and enjoy!!!

The crispy bird sandwich was fantastic, as were the fries. Juicy, crispy, great flavor. The bun was warm and lightly toasted. Perfection. The grits were good but would’ve been better with some cheese, garlic, green onion, and/or bacon. It was on the plain side, and the shrimp were over cooked, maybe previously frozen? Service at the bar was indifferent. We weren’t offered a choice of side with the crispy bird sandwich — waitress didn’t bother asking. Which is fine, but at the end she chose 20% tip for us on the payment device and gave us only the option of signing, not choosing the tip. Is that even allowed? Also the bar area smelled foul — of rotting spilled milk, maybe? Needs a good cleaning!

A great restaurant in the heart of Harlem. If you are in New York take a quick trip up to Harlem. You will not be disappointed. All of the meals were prepared perfectly. Everyone's meals were seasoned and cooked just as each of us ordered. Our waitress was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The entire staff created a very welcoming atmosphere.

I had really high hopes for this restaurant as the reviews highly recommended. We arrived and it was easy to find and the staff and customer service was great. The inside ambiance was nice but nothing overwhelming. The shrimp and grits had a different spin with chorizo added however was very good along with the cornbread. My family had the chicken and waffles (their first time ever) and the chicken was very dry and overcooked. The waffle was dry as well with not much flavor. The maple syrup was really the staple for this dish. It was a nice one time visit. Not sure if it would be my go to spot for Harlem but would be willing to give it a second chance to check out the bar and outside seating area.
