3401 Redbud Trail, Austin, TX 78746, USA
Too beautiful, a place untouched. As swimming is not allowed here, very clear water, people bring their SUP or boats here. Very calming experience. Large off leash paradise for dogs. A great city escape. Cons: limited parking. arrived on Sunday 9:30am, wait to parking like 10min.
I've been in Austin since 2001. I never knew there was a little outdoor paradise here. An actual island surrounded by beautiful water and clean trails. Novice photographers and artists need to come here. Bring your dog, they'll really appreciate it.
First time here and will definitely be visiting again. My dog really enjoyed the park. It's not a very long trail but there is lots of open space in the beginning of trail to have some play time. You may want to check the status of the water algae before coming if your dog loves to swim.
Beautiful park for both human and doggies. Our pup had a wonderful time there rolling in the mud and dipping in the lake. The parking area is pretty small, ended up queuing for a space. Other than that, great place to let the four-legged family member running around and have some fun!
This place is beautiful. 13 acres of leash free dog area. It's literally an island. Lush and water for fido to swim in. Saw people fishing and kayaking. Lots of happy dogs.
