As a bourbon lover, this is a great spot! The server was knowledgeable and the selection is huge. The food was phenomenal. My friend and I had the corn bread appetizer, which was amazing, and I ordered a beyond burger with cheese and peach bourbon slaw, which was so delicious.

This restaurant only opened three weeks ago so the review may have asterisk**. The location is convenient if you are visiting downtown for a game or concert (I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there). The atmosphere is really nice and gives you the feel of a 5 star location. Plenty of seating with a big bar. The food was solid (which is the most important). We had: - open face Turkey sandwich - Brisket sandwich - Burger - Country Fried Steak Everything was really good. The brisket and the Turkey were moist and the burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were just crispy enough. The sides could be better… add mashed potatoes and a few other options. The one complaint was that the service was slow. It wasn’t too busy but we waited to order, waited for refills, waited for the food, waited for the bill…. We were there for almost 1hr & 45min (and were seated right away). Here comes the *** they have only been open 3 weeks and are probably still figuring it out, plus they were friendly which trumps slow in my book. We will try it again the next time we are downtown and hopefully update this to ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I know a lot of people that go to this restaurant and I have heard the food is good but what I ordered was really not good. The only good thing was the side salad. The Cesar dressing didn’t even taste like Cesar dressing. The burger I got tasted so bad it tasted like a frozen burger and it tasted so terrible I had to throw away 85% of it. I was excited to try the food and hoping it would be good but it wasn’t. Would there be a way I can get a refund back to my card that I paid with. The total was $16.28. Maybe next time the food will be better.

Beautiful restaurant, but still with a casual vibe. Which I liked. A few TVs around for sports fans, but not overdone, it did not feel like a sports bar. I really wanted to love this place, and maybe it was just an off Friday night for them but service was slow and lacking. Our polish water guy was the most attentive refilling our water frequently and entertaining us. However, I think they didn't have enough servers because our server seemed to be covering a huge section and running around everywhere. I knocked over my water and notified him but it was never cleaned up off the floor. Concerned someone would slip and fall we used our table linens to clean it up best we could. My cocktail called Beat the Heat was great tasting and a perfect drink for a hot night, and the coleslaw was absolutely delicious. My brisket sandwich was very tasty. I will try this place again, but probably during less busy hours, or after the hiring shortage ends. It seems every bar / restaurant I have visited recently is trying to hire more help.

Really enjoyed eating dinner at the newly opened Phoenix Bourbon Room on Friday night. Classy, upscale atmosphere with a nice selection of bourbon (obviously), wines, craft cocktails, and locally brewed draft beer. I tried the Rising Suns and Beat the Heat cocktails which were awesome! For dinner I had the Smoked Brisket Sandwich with a side of fries and was very happy with my meal. Will definitely be coming back with some friends in the near future!
