Love that you are just a little over an hour away, perfect 1 day getaway. We stopped and played in the snow and had a ride on the ski lifts. More snow was expected for today, so thinking they will be open for skiers this weekend. We also enjoy stopping in Summerhaven for a snack before heading down the mountain. The views are beautiful.

Very Majestic Mountain! Beautiful drive and very scenic! I went multiple time. Try the Ski ride while you up there and don’t miss out breakfast in Iron Door. They open breakfast at 9am on Saturdays and Sundays.

It's a beautiful place. A 50 mile drive from Tucson. There are small trails so you can go there for hiking. It looks beautiful from the top and a magnificent view in monsoon season.

Great place for views, short and long hikes, picnics. Cute little town up top but rarely go there because parking is impossible. Maybe they will plan for parking with all the new construction. Only an hour or so drive to cooler weather and fresh air!

Incredibly beautiful! I drove up the mountain to see the sunrise multiple times (near Windy Point Vista). The shapes of the rocks are gorgeous and inspiring!
