Molokini, Hawaii, USA
A fantastic partially submerged volcano crater that provides a lot of sea life and reef life area to grow and where tourists come on the various boats to snorkel. It can be crowded so pick your tour(s) wisely. The smaller groups are easier. Saw a ray, turtle and plenty of fish here. Also a lot of seabirds nesting on the crater walls.
The crater itself is neat but if you plan on snorkeling here with a tour it is pretty disappointing. Each boat has 100+ people on it and you are all in the water at the same time bumping into eachother. The coral reefs were not very big or very beautiful with very few fish and fish variety. There are much better places to go snorkeling in Maui (I'll let you do the hard research to avoid ruining and overcrowding other areas).
Amazing snorkeling, beautiful, clean ocean
Beautiful place! We saw octopus and eels and tonnes of fish in 2015. Went on a small tour. Wasnt over crowded. Good for kids to try snuba too!
Absolutely beautiful ❤️ to snorkel. Many species of fish and I saw 4 White Tipped Reef Sharks
