Went here for dinner after seeing/hearing great reviews but unfortunately was a big letdown. I am not sure if the kitchen is run by a new chef or possibly a substitute that night but every dish we ordered tasted like it was prepared with no seasoning at all and missing ingredients. Not even salt or pepper. The biggest letdown was the Piedmont Black Truffle & Mushroom Risotto. The dish came out with a healthy portion of shaved truffle on top but had no fragrance or even taste of truffle at all. Not even when we tried a truffle shaving on its own. Not sure who their supplier is but it was very odd and should probably be looked into by the restaurant owner. Fake truffles are a common thing in today’s culinary world. The risotto unfortunately had no flavor either and was comparable to eating a bowl of plain oatmeal. Not worth the price point of this place.

Quite possibly one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I've ever had. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a safe visit a couple of months ago, when many places in Nashville weren't taking the same level of precautions. The ambience in the "barn" was perfect, and everything we ate was divine. We loved everything about Miel. We will be back.

Dinner was exceptional. Service was great. The owner checked on us to provide searing update.

So happy that this quaint special spot has weathered the pandemic! We've primarily done takeout for the last year, but have also dined in a few times for special occasions. The owner and her team have done an excellent job with needed safety measures and offer both indoor and outdoor spaces with comfortably spaced seating. Excellent food focused on French, Mediterranean and Southern styles. Great wine list and cocktails. Farm to table approach, including items from their on-site garden in season.

Disappointed. My wife and I have been to Miel many times in the past few years. Our last time was a few days ago and we can attest that things have definitely changed. My wife enjoyed a hilariously small portion of an entree, and while the flavor was there, she was left wanting more. I unfortunately experienced what I would call a very mediocre steak that was overcooked and under-seasoned. An aged steak as described on the menu should melt in your mouth. For the cost, I expected much better. Unfortunately because of covid, the seating arrangements are very awkward. We were seated between the covered area and the semi walled in area. Our table had a cheap patio umbrella in the middle that did little but block our conversation. Also, no heater was available for us so we got a bit chilly. We have loved Miel in the past, and maybe will try it again in the future, but this visit left a bad taste (literally) in our mouths.
