The ride around the plantation was fun and very informative. 45 minutes was a great amount of time for it. The restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately the shops all closed kind of early so we didn't get to shop at all. We rode the 4:00 tour and they encouraged us to check out the grounds afterward then go to the shops, but the shops closed at 5, which we didn't realize at the time, so they were closed by the time we finished walking around.
This was a great excursion. Well worth the money. Huge gift shop. Beautiful restaurant. Places to sit and walk and take photos. Then, the tour was great. Of all the plantation tours we tried this trip, this was by far the best and best value.
It's beautiful! The tram tour is very informative and you get to see the beautiful flowers and fruitfulness of a working plantation, as well as a demonstration of coconut husking, planting, and processing. Shops are well stocked with crafts and clothing of Hawaii. Lovely experience.
This is my second time in Maui but my first time visiting the plantation. Definitely worth the trip. I was only there for a little over an hour and it wasn’t long enough to really explore it but I enjoyed every second. I recommend to adjust your flight back with your visit because is super close to the airport and it’s a perfect aloha from the island. Plus you can buy souvenirs made in Maui.
It’s worth to visit! Take tickets on plantation tour, it’s slow and relaxing you can see great vies of tropical plantations and cool coconut presentation with tips and tricks how to clean and serve coconut. They have wonderful gift shop with plenty of great coffee and tea. Also they serve delicious fresh tropical fruits. There are restaurant and coffee shop onsite with option to take zip line tour as well.
