It was closed due to renovations, which I'm sure will be nice if I ever return. It would have been helpful if their website said something about the planned closures. All I could see were some dove and chickens.

What an awesome little hike! There are some stellar views of the rainforest on the way up. The hike takes around 30 minutes or so depending on who's on the trail. It is fairly muddy, but there is a shoe rinsing place in the parking lot. Parking is $5 which is very reasonable considering how beautiful the hike is. We got there around 11 and had no trouble finding a parking spot. There's a small gift shop with food like hot dogs and drinks and a bathroom near the parking lot. This hike can get a little sketchy near the top, especially if it's slippery which if it rained recently it will be. The falls at the top are very serene, but you can't swim in it. The website says starting October 1st it will be closed on weekdays, but I'm not sure how long this is for. Overall, this is a great place to stop by!

I've read trough most of the reviews and I thought this was trail was superb, regardless of whatever the waterfall was doing! Luckily, the waterfall was flowing, which is obviously better than not, but the trail leading to the waterfall is very cool. This is not a steep trail, or a trail that will leave you with breath. Instead, it's slippery and muddy so wear appropriate shoes. To give people an idea - we passed a guy who had a baby attached to his chest and he made the entire hike.

The hike up to the waterfall was a moderate walk, some steps and slippery rocks. About an hour up and back. Take a walking stick and make it easier. It had rained the night before so waterfall was lovely. Our tour guy was no nonsense, on the clock, and if you rode with him you'd better be on time!

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! The trail takes you through a lush green rainforest all the way to an amazing waterfall. Tips & advice: - take bug repellent - wear dark shoes with good traction - the trail can get muddy & slippery if there has been any recent rain. I saw many people with walking sticks. * try to avoid the man with the red macaw; he won't ask permission to perch his bird on you for photos, but has no problem asking for your money. Very rude.
