Whether your just learning to ski or snowboard, or you've been doing it for years, Loveland has every type of run you can think of. From a bunny hill all the way to extreme terrain. Not only are there runs for every type of skill level, the beginner and intermediate runs are separated from the advanced to expert runs. So if your going with your kids you can go to the easier slopes and not have to worry about someone whizzing by at 50 mph. Trying to get an epic video for YouTube? Head to the harder slopes and get those epic clips.

The staff was courteous, polite, prompt, and kind when getting you through the rental line. No one made us feel rushed. They took social distancing seriously, and everything appeared extremely clean (bathrooms included.) The lifts were fast. The slopes were incredible. There are so many blues and greens. The trails were well marked. I’d come back just because the staff were so great!!! Nice job!

Loveland is a great ski area with helpful and friendly staff. It's is one of the first to open and one of the last to close! This is a great locals preferred destination with some of the best value tickets. The cons of this ski area is that is gets extremely cold and windy above tree line. Some of the runs from lift 4, 8 and 9 remain closed for a large portion of the season.

Locals' favorite! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are no amenities near the ski area (Really. Not even a convenience store). You have to return to the highway and drive at least 15 minutes in either direction. BUT. That is also what makes Loveland awesome, and the reason locals love it. The resort doesn't get zillions of tourists found at the more famous resorts on the other side of the pass, and the price for a lift ticket approaches the realm of the real, coming in at a fraction of the price of other resorts. Plus, there's bundles and specials for even better deals. They have a fantastic little section called Loveland Valley, where you'll find ski school and a beginners/teaching area. I was able to teach my kids myself for a tiny fraction of the price of ski school, and lift/carpet tickets in that area are in the tens of dollars. Perfect for getting your novice (of any age) up and sliding. Plus, if you do want lessons, they're the best priced of any I've seen, and still wonderful quality. The terrain is huge and beautiful and varied for all experience levels -bunnies to bowls- and feels much less crowded than other resorts (on slope anyway; the indoors are predictably busy at peak lunch hours). This ski area is plenty comfortable, but it's no frills fantastic riding and skiing - not a tourist destination. And the snow, the snow, the snow! Due to its soaring height atop Loveland Pass, the ski area gets more snow than any other in the region; tons of champagne powder all season! It's absolutely dreamy. Loveland is only an hour and a half from Denver, so an easy day trip from the Front Range.

What a great place to ski. Staff was super helpful. Ski instructor was incredible and so patient and nice. Cheaper than the other resorts in the area and a great variety of slopes. More convenient and not as crowded too. Highly recommend.
