I've been here nearly a dozen times and always look forward to coming over again. It's such a great bar. The cocktails are all so good. I love coming here when there's a live band and people dancing. Most of the times I come here with my husband. It's definitely a romantic date place. We've also been here with good friends and it felt right too.

Good drinks, good company, and good vibes. I was in SF celebrating my birthday and my friend recommended Local Edition. We arrived a little before 10pm, got our IDs checked, and made our way downstairs. I ordered the Ava Gardener ($14). This drink consisted of jasmine tea infused vodka, coconut milk, lemon, ginger, bitters, and basil. It's shaken and served on the rocks. The Ava Gardener is super unique and the flavors are rich, aromatic, and refreshing! This drink was definitely well-made and each ingredient came together properly to make this fantastic drink. There was also live music playing when we got there. However, by 10pm, all of the tables were taken so we just stood around the bar and open area. Local Edition is a solid spot to grab drinks with friends, with a date, or with a large group of people. I recommend paying it a visit if you haven't already.

I liked the cocktail Ava garden with jasmine tea infused vodka, coconut milk, ginger, hint of basil, and bitters. We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday and there were a few tables free but the place got filled as the night went on. The Long Goodbye has apricot and passion fruit but tasted mostly like apricot. Music is not too loud. Would go back here if it’s not crowded.

Never knew this place existed until some friends told me about it. This is a neat place to have a bar. You wouldn't know how big it by looking from the outside. The subterranean establishment opens up and looks very accommodating once you descend. The house cocktail are fantastic - personal favorite was the Harvest Punch. If helps if you make a reservation for a table to minimize any waiting time. A friend pointed out the music selection for the night as he's been here a couple times: 8-9pm: big band and 60s music 9-10pm: contemporary pop r&b 10pm+: club, house, etc The schedule held true for the night we were there.

I liked it a lot. Prices are good, nice music, no cover charge. The service is mediocre ~ there is a waitress but she doesn't serve anyone at tables apparently on slow nights, bartender is not helpful - - I ask for a girlie not strong drink he says they all have the same alcohol.. Uh yes man I know but some have a lot of mix and some have no mix.. Come on why not help a brother out instead of getting technical flack back? I should have given him $0 tip but I'm a nice guy.
