Love this park. From the trail to the salt water pool to sitting out watching the water. This park provided me with daily escapes to relax during my pregnancy. Very family friendly park.
The kids had a wonderful time playing at Lincoln Park today. The wadding pool is perfect for younger children. They also enjoyed the play structure and sand box. The tall evergreen trees and the cool breeze off the Sound were an added bonus. #perfect day.
Lincoln Park somehow manages to have ample parking and still be located within West Seattle. It's... a miracle. We love going to the wading pool on hot days, as it is always shaded and never too crowded. There is (was?) a zipline, a fantastic playground, a couple of grills for use, and about a gazillion other things to love about this place.
Very spacious park. All types of wildlife, and there is a freshwater and a saltwater swimming pool. While this park is beautiful, I urge caution because crimes happen here, especially in the evening. Car prowls are common here, but there are numerous documented sex crimes reported here. Go with friends and safely explore this gem in West Seattle.
Beautiful park but as an FYI: there is a large decline/incline hill to get to and from the waterfront. Hill down to get to the water and up to get back to the parking lot. Locals are obviously aware of this but as someone from out of town who read reviews, I didn't see info on this anywhere. The climb was a bit challenging for my mom so we ended up walking around to the street to climb on a more stable surface. This extended our walk by quite a distance but the views made it more than worth it.
