Lands End Trail, San Francisco, CA 94121, USA
A wonderful easy hike/outdoor walk. Great for families and pets are welcome. Given the various trail options and self-pacing, this area lends itself to being as brisk or involved as you’d like. Visited on New Years morning. There were plenty of other visitors, but enough parking to accommodate all. We took the Coastal Trail and visited a few of the scenic lookouts. There are restrooms open at the back of the museum, above the parking lot. Great views!
One of my favorite places in San Francisco. It takes you away from the city. A short hike with stunning views of the ocean and SF bridge. So next time you are in the city, come here for a little break from the concrete jungle.
Hard hike in.
By far my favorite trail in the entire SF Bay Area. This trail is beautiful no matter the time of day, dusk, or year. Parking is easy to find even on the busy weekends, the trail is easily accessible, and doesn't require much effort. There are multiple view points and stops along the trail with amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Golden Gate, and the Pacific Ocean. You can take the trail the full 2 miles to Sutro Baths or head to the labyrinth, take in the stunning views and turn around. I have done this trail at least 2 dozen times and it's never lost it's wow factor.
Tricky to find... go down first flight of steps and instead of taking the second set of steps to your left, go straight (be careful, narrow path) you wouldn’t regret the amazing view!!! Guarantee some beautiful clicks!!!
