Amazing location, right next to Central park, nice ambiance and nice service.Their food has a lot of character and they are not afraid to use spices. We had several different dishes and every plate was made to perfection, however their spicy pasta was the real star of the day. This place has ambiance +++, starting from the entry, to the bar, and to the patio. The food is perfect, and the servers know how to bring it all together. I was there twice last week (once alone, where I sat at the bar, and once on a date), and the experiences were both perfect.

This was our first Michelin star dining experience and I'm so happy we chose Jean-George! We decided to go with the 10 course tasting menu and practically had to roll ourselves out the front door; it was very filling! The use of flavors and creative presentation were beyond our expectation. The crab dumplings were by far my favorite dish. The staff was extremely attentive and our server, Brian, was the best! He was very knowledgeable (a culinary school graduate) and was great conversation! He was very funny and made our experience memorable.

Had an awesome experience here catching with some friends. The place was magnificent, we loved the ambiance. We had several dishes, and I can say that the food was top notch. They really know how to serve their customers right. Thank you Jean-Georges!

Fortuitously, spent an hour at the bar with a friend before dinner and was impressed with the three barmen with New York City élan -- 'purveyors of wisdom through spirits'. Dinner was, as always, memorable. Jean-Georges had a very slight change in the personalities of the wait staff towards restaurant skill over good looks and now have a better team. As usual, the dishes were all spectacular and of exceptional worth. I adore this restaurant and wish everyone could afford this heavenly experience.

Just few words for saying it was an amazing experience and the food was delightful , unforgettable flavors . Just “ minor “ things to be improve so can everything can be perfect , the plastic water bottle on the table and a little bit more waiting time before meals , gave you time to really enjoy the food and the ambiance . An elegant ambiance, delicious food, knowledgeable staff. It is a perfect dinner spot in every way. A delight for all senses. A star among many highly competitive restaurants in NYC. Highly recommend for couples and families.
