Clam roll and seafood chowder for a takeout lunch. Worth every dollar. Such high quality, no pretense - just a perfect example of New England fare. Way to go Jameson!

We had a late lunch. I had a seared scallop salad and my friend had the seafood special - haddock and scallops. Delicious!! Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient. I recommend Jameson Tavern when you're in Freeport.

Absolutely fantastic service. My friend has celiac disease and the waitress and chef were the most accompanying she has ever felt. She could literally order almost anything off the menu and they had a solution for her. Food was great and the vibe was rustic tavern which was very comforting. We had the swordfish and haddock specials, very good.

Our first time here and we loved it. Staff was great, our waitress KK was awesome. We order the calamari/shrimp appetizer and it was so tender! The clam chowder/lobster roll combo was good . We also had the day’s special Swordfish over Mediterranean salad and nothing was left on the plate. We hope to return.

Like a old friend. Always feel welcome there and great food. Mussels wonderful and chowders and soup great. Service quick and friendly with a smile. Thank you for a nice evening.
