What a difference. A few years ago I was not impressed. Tonight was completely different. The fish fry was superb. Our table had a combo platter plain and Cajun, a shrimp dinner, and a regular baked. The coating on the fish and shrimp was light and flavorful and nor pouring out oil. But honestly the apple crisp was the best thing of the night. The waitress was fabulous, she kept us updates on our meal when it was being cooked kept our cups filled and smiled the entire time. It was worth the slightly higher prices.

This is the best food around at a great price. They have burgers, pizza, and the best fish fry on Fridays in the UP and primerib on Saturdays. I have not been disappointed with anything that I have tried. Service is always excellent! Highly recommend if in the Ironwood, Bessemer, Ramsay Area.

We had the whitefish special and seafood bisque soup. Excellent!!! Service was prompt and efficient! The young host was impressive by cleaning tables, seating people And getting to go orders. We bet he’s not a day over 16 yrs old, lol. Wonderful place, clean, and fantastic food! Will be back soon! Thank you for the wonderful experience during these sparse times!!

From the nostalgic atmosphere, the cleanliness, friendly staff, delicious drinks and food, this place is a gem off the beaten path. We started with the appetizer special, lobster nachos. The flaky "chips" and creamy lobster were fantastic. I tried their berry drink which has rum, raspberry vodka and a scoop of their raspberry and blueberry fruit along with a mixer. It was refreshing and very tasty. For my meal I had grilled shrimp. They were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. My friend ordered the pear pizza and it was very good, unusual but so tasty. Our husband's both got the walleye dinner. Everything was so good!

This place was recommended by our VRBO host... What a terrific meal! We had cheese curds which were the bomb! So fresh and delicious. Also ordered a margarita pizza which was likely the best I've ever had. The pesto was so tasty... And I loved the balsamic drizzle. Our waiter/bar tender was friendly and efficient. The building was charming and so clean! Lots of historic charm. Highly recommend this place.
